Urgent help for Halima
The 13 years old Halima Mohammed, a beautiful little girl from a rural village in Chad, suffering for 7 years from a growing eye tumour. Turning her childhood into a painful journey full of sadness and fear.
We met Halima coincidentally while we were heading to their 5 kilometres away water well. She was on her way back to the village with two jerrycans of contaminated water.

7 years ago, her journey with the pain started with an eye tumour and in 2017, she had an eye removal surgery. After she returned from that surgery, a small tumour started to develop again at the site of the surgery. For the last 3 years, the tumour kept growing as well as her pain and her fears from her unknown future destiny. Both of her parents said they can’t afford to get her the treatment she needs, and they are asking for your help.
After the surgery, Halima had some complications and hence needing more time and care in the hospital. We have run out of fund and unable to pay for the cost of her stay and treatment post-surgery.
Halima needs your help again to help her complete her treatment journey and return to her family.
